Just seen this on a separate forum, apologies if this is the wrong place, but blimey! This is/was an Escort RS1600i after being left in a field for 18 years...









The whole front end has separated itself. What a shame, I understand these RS1600is are somewhat of a rarity these days?

At some point there was a noise when the weight of the engine broke the front free and fell forward. That is the noise of a dying escorts last breath...

I'm not an escort fan but that picture does really sadden me. It looks like a tired old hound whose fur is falling out, is blind in one eye and has three legs.
