Heathrow pickup T3 in a van

I have to collect a colleague from LHR tomorrow morning. No bother normally, but I have to use a van that's 2.9m tall. Is there anywhere in walking distance I can park it legally?

The T3 carpark has an area on the ground floor with vans in, not sure how you get into that part though. Can't you just drive around in circles for a bit?

You can park up at one of the hotels, (Park Inn, Renaissance) and get the hopper bus to and from the terminal. Most of them give you 30 - 60 mins free parking for dropping off/pick up.

I think there is a parking area in T3 car park for vans, on the left as you enter but not sure it will accept a van that tall.
