Who am i insured with?

Is there a way of checking who a car is insured with?
I know it's insured because i recently taxed it, no direct debit as was paid in lump sum.
Can't find the docs, if i ever even had any as many don't send them out anymore.

Surely you must have an email? They always send a confirmation via email.

Surely you must have a brief memory of speaking to "one of a couple" of insurance companies? Try ringing any that you remember you would of spoken to?

ha, ive just gone though the same thought process with the wifes insurance.

in the end it was just lucky guessing the online logins for a few i knew i'd tried.

There should still be an entry in your bank statement for them taking the payment?

Took me a couple of reads but you should either have an email or they post the certificate out.

Do you not remember calling a company and handing over your banking details.

The car is insured because i taxed it online.
Guess i just need to trawl through the bank statements.
