Audi: most boring range of cars on sale today

Reading TG magazine and turned to the new q3. What a dull, repetitive design. I passed a new a4 today, looked like a 10 year old design. Even the Koreans are making more interesting cars now. Is Audi the most boring car company on the planet?

I'd argue that the Yaris and Landcruiser are more interesting in their own ways than the Audi range. I have nothing against Audi drivers aside from the fact the rest of us have to look at their cars.

Not far off, but I think there are more boring ranges of cars on the market. Probably the most overrated though...

I think VW make a lot more boring cars than Audi, no shape, no style, no lines.

Although Audi's generally have as much styling imagination as the 911, I do think the A8 is a much nicer looking car than the S Class or 7 Series.

Vauxhall would be a strong contender for the crown - I wonder how many minutes it took them to style the current Astra?

The problem with that is that they are sold as Toyotas in Japan, etc. It's a rebadging, not a completely different marque entirely.

The current Astra's not bad at all. Looks quite a bit like a Guilietta from the back, and I've swung from thinking that's a poor comment on Alfa to being praise for Vauxhall. The front's not very exciting but I've not really anything bad to say about it either, including that it's dull.

Well, that may well be, but they do a coupe version too... Still nice, not boring cars.
