Cars that you wish you could bring back

I've been driving around 20 years now and have been privileged to own some lovely sports cars. When I was a 17 I really wanted a GTE 16v but had no chance. Later on in my 20's I owned a few, but they were all starting to suffer from the well documented problems of rot and porous heads , etc.

I really would like to find a minter but there is no chance.

I would love to be able to bring one back and have Vauxhall make just one more for me!

What car would you have made just for you?

Odd. I'd like to find the man who invented the GTE 16v and shoot him. Awful car.
We could do with another R5 GT Turbo and another Austin A40 - small, roomy, versatile, rwd, economical but constantly willing.

Sounds like yours was ........ mine on the other hand was a great hot hatch. I'd love another one but really well preserved ones will be few and far between now.
I think the cars differed a lot in quality control back then - hence some very good reviews in macs of the time.....and some not so good....... Just like the original RS Focus reviews. Some people seem to love them, others don't.
I'd bring back the Colt Lancer Turbo I think, as I missed out the first time around

There's a fully restored one on autotrader at 6k
But it's been there for months and months.

Reports are it's not as straight as it could be.

Which is a massive shame.

Capri RS3100 - I've got a 1974 3.0 GXL languishing in a garage that was amazing when it was running, far from mint though, so can only imagine how fun a new one would be.

1969 Alfa Romeo GTV 1750 in White. My dad had one, but it never ran in my living memory. Didn't stop me sitting in it as a child and pretending to drive it...

I enjoyed mine too - had it 7 years and did over 100k in it. Went from 2 litre to 2.2 to 2.4. Would've liked a proper 400 though
