Easiest way to siphon fuel?

Afternoon all,

I have a car which I will be selling for scrap/repairs (engine is blown). However, it has ~70l if fuel in it.

Is the 'best' way to siphon it out still using a length of hose and my lungs, or has anyone come across a healthier option?

Many cars have anti-siphoning bits in the tank/filler neck. If it has a fuel pump in the tank that you can access through the floor then I would remove the pump and draw the fuel out that way.

Or you will end up removing the tank, which is messy.

disconnect the fuel pipe at the fuel rail, then turn the pump on to pump the fuel into a bucket or jerry can of some sort.

Hand syphon pump, either through the top of the tank, or the filler neck.

Work brilliantly.
