Superformance are the company that provide the alloys, it's a US forum although I don't see a reason why they wouldn't ship to the UK. If you're into your classic US cars the name should be well-known as a popular recreation manufacturer of Shelby Cobras.

Yes, they are for the Vette. I'm currently upgrading everything including the brakes and all sensible options are for 17inch wheels minimum.
I really like those wheels, and I think they would look great with gold and chrome on the sidepipes.
They are much more expensive in your link though than the one posted earlier... £2500 per set + postage to the UK + custom duty.

I completely agree with you, especially since your C3's paintwork seems to be in such good condition as well, make sure you post some pictures up in Readers Cars or something when you're done!
Does your Vette have the loud shouty exhausts as well? That's just the icing on the cake.
ETA reg the expense - that's in USD, $2500 translates to £1550 in today's money. I'm not sure how expensive the other wheels are, but the Superformance are on US prices. (plus, if you want to be sneaky, you could always try and find a UK Superformance dealer or ask them to be sent over as a "gift")

Unfortunately it does add to quite a lot. I've just fitted a Steeroids rack and pinion conversion set.I bought it for £725 on Ebay US, then there's £280 postage and £186 custom duty. I wasn't a happy bunny...
Always assuming the worst, it would hurt even more on £1600 wheels.
From ImageWheels from link above, it works out around £1300 for a set, that's in the UK.
