Solar panel lighting, views & suggestions

Morning all,

I'm moving into a new flat over the next few weeks, fortunately it includes a garage in a block. There is no power running to the garage though so I've been trying to think of ways of having a long term light solution. Has anyone used solar powered lights? Will they be bright enough or hold power for a decent amount of time? Any experience with a particular product?

Ideally I'd like power as well but short of running a generator I can't think of a solution
