If you want a phone number it is now £1.53/minute!!!

What happened to having the contact numbers listed on the web site?

You do know that Govguide is a private company and not connected to DVLA don't you ?

DVLA phone numbers are on their website : http://www.dft.gov.uk/dvla/contactus.aspx

(click on the right section to get the numbers)

DVLA numbers are still premium rate :/

Best to use "saynoto0870.com", find the local rate number and use that. Makes things quicker too, when they put you on hold say "sure no problem.... I used the local number" and you won't be on hold for very long

Wrong, 03 numbers are not premium rate, they are no more than national rate ie equivalent to calling 01 or 02 numbers.

But they're not included in 'free' minutes on mobile phones which 01/02 numbers are....

You'd be ok if you're using a BT line then (in the evenings) as they include calls to 0845 numbers (for upto 60 mins at a time, 1000 mins per month fair usage)

They aren't included in mine (Vodafone) the website isn't clear so I called them up and in my 600 min contract they are excluded.
