I was shocked, recently, to see a hearse on its way to the crematory that was based around a Ford Mondeo. A Mondeo! Nothing wrong with a Mondeo generally, but for your last journey ever? You wouldn't pick one as a wedding car would you?
Anyway, following this, my partner has been left strict instructions that I am under no circumstances to partake my final journey in a Ford, a Volvo, or a Vauxhall (undertakers near me runs Vauxhall Omega based hearses).
I've seen a fetching silver Mercedes E Class hearse that I think would be quite classy and a bit different. But ideally I've requested a Bentley or a Rolls. Traditional and unimaginative I know, but you can't go far wrong.
Any other good suggestions for that final ride, either good or bad?

What do you care? It's just a waste of money.

I thought it was rather apt as she loved being driven fast - it was just a pity the driver never floored it, she would have laughed all the way to the cemetery.

Rear wheel drive, no traction controll and may have been quite fun in the snow

After seeing the cost of my grandads funeral, which was a simple cremation with no church service and only two cars. I have left specific instructions that im to be taken to the service in my landrover then buried somewhere on our land. Balls to all these money grabbing funeral directors.
