I like it when the needles on my dash are all pointing in the same direction.

In my old Clio, at a steady 85-ish mph, with the engine warmed up, in 6th gear and with half a tank of fuel, the needles all pointed in the same direction, straight ahead.

In the Panda, 6th gear, ful tank of fuel, car warmed up, about 60 mph, the needles all point to about 10 o'clock.

I just find that very satisfying... like they meant it. getmecoat

Does it have to be car-related?

I like when people can properly distinguish between 'lose' and 'loose'.

'Did you see where I left my keys, I don't want to loose them', for example makes me sad.

I do quite like it when I accelerate in second. Its basically 10mph/1k revs so the speedo an rev gague read the same all the way up to redline smile

The rear door handles on an Alfa 156 I used to own & watching passengers looking perplexed when they tried to get in. Happy days. Oh & the fact that the first decent car I ever owned (Pug 205 XS) had the same interior as the GTI version. Really must try & find one of those again.........

i like it when all the vents in my car point the same direction and also the dual zone climate has to have the same temp set (kind of makes the whole dual zone thing pointless).

I actually nearly crashed my S3 as i had to adjust the far side passenger vent - was pointing in a funny direction. I drifted into a kerb and mullered a wheel frown

I like it when you look down at the odometer just as it goes through another 1000. Don't tend to keep track of how many miles a car has done so it's neat if you catch a glance just as it goes from 71999 to 72000. I'd probably orgasm if I noticed it change from 99999...

I'm another one who lines the air vents up.

I know many people who have to have their volume on even numbers.

I quite enjoy seeing a full tank of fuel too.

Nope not just you. I noticed the odometer on the MINI was reading 79,999 the other day and videoed it clicking over to 80,000. My OH spent most of that mile looking at the speedo rather then where she was going!

Had three cars click over the magic 99999 in my possession, all with digital readouts...sadly, I only remembered to watch it on two of them...

On my MK6 Golf used to like having the white line on the radio volume dial perfectly vertical - it meant balancing it between two notches as they left would leave it just off vertical either way, curse you VW!

Fiat X-1/9 the rev counter went anti-clockwise. The best thing was to try and get the speedo (on the left) and the rev counter to meet in the middle!

That is fking awesome.

I almost died a month ago watching it go from 8887 to 8888 then a couple of days later from 8999 to 9000. Very satisfying.

Did you notice that after you'd stopped, or did you stop because of that readout? And if you did, how long were you planning it for?

Kudos though!

I was very satisfied when the sun on my odometer made my 30 years old car look like it only did 1 mile! I even got a picture, it was so awesome!

Kind of similar to the above but I like seeing the number in a palindromic format instead.
