Rare beast BMW NAZCA

That is nice. I remember seeing them in silver in the magazines and preferred the C2 version:

Twin turbo 6.0 v12, according to wikipedia! Only 380bhp, which seems a little low for such an engine.

Not a turbo and not a 6.0. The engine above is an Alpina version of the 5.0 M70, which in the contemporary E32 ALPINA B12 was good for 350bhp. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW_Nazca_C2
The ALPINA twin turbo engine of that time (featured in the E34 B10 Bi-Turbo) was based upon the M30 3.5 litre inline six and was rated at 380PS if memory serves.
I'd love to see a NAZCA, but I'd prefer to own the other BMW V12 mid-engined road car...

You've got me there. What is the other mid engined V12 BMW road car?The ALPINA twin turbo engine of that time (featured in the E34 B10 Bi-Turbo) was based upon the M30 3.5 litre inline six and was rated at 380PS if memory serves.
