Hi all.

Tomorrow a friend and I are going to look at a (apparently) lovely 1998 Omega V6 Estate, but what should we look out for? Ad here: http://www.bilbasen.dk/brugt/bil/opel/omega/25-v6-...

It has done 130K miles (I'm from Denmark - mileages & prices are higher...), so what are the pitfalls?

Electronics can be iffy. It'll have LOTS of buttons inside, just check that they all work.

The V6 has a funny quirk with the positioning of the oil cooler: it means that if the car's just been driven short distances or around town, the oil filler often has the creamy "mayo" in it, even if the head gasket is fine. If it has the mayo, take it for a good 30-minute drive up a motorway and back, it'll probably go away ( and if it doesn't, then budget for a double gasket swap).
