Dream drives

I've just booked a trip to the Nurburgring next month with the Impreza (and the wife) followed by a few days in Switzerland where I would like to take the drive from Davos to Stelvio via the Stelvio pass (as seen on Top Gear). It's the first time that I've had a car that's both worthy of such a trip and that I can trust to get me there and back (the 205 GTi and Corrado would have been awesome as well but I'm not sure if I would have trusted them to get me there). Can't wait!

Anyway, it just got me thinking. What other road trips would I like to take and in what car? Here are a few suggestions.

Monte Carlo in an Aston via the Col de Turini
Lake Como in a Maserati
Nurburgring and back in a hardcore 911 (GT3 or Turbo)
Ferrari/Lamborgini in Italy (however the prospect terrifies me, as Italian roads were terrifying enough in a Daihatsu hire car last summer)
Route 66 in a 1960s V8 Mustang
California Route 1 on a Harley
Across Africa in the luxury of a Discovery 4
Japanese mountains in a Skyline GTR
Isle of Man TT course in a WRX STI
Geneva in an E-Type

and some less glamorous ones...
North Wales in a 205 1.9 GTi (with an Integra Type-R as back-up fow when the 205 breaks)!
Lands End to John O' Groats in an S4 Alfa Spider (or a Morgan Plus 8)
Le Mans in a Jaguar XFR
Somewhere hectic like Paris/Rome in an Abarth 500
Saturday night in Basildon in a white Sierra RS500 Cosworth
Devon and Cornwall in a T2 Camper

What would your dream drives be and in what vehicles?

My dream drives are always in some very impressive machinery (Murcielago, F1, Veyron) but I am pedalling furiously and cars are overtaking me. Or is that not what you mean?

Thank you shirt! Well I guess no-one is bothered about dream drives. The M25 in an Astra it is then!
