Declaring Mods on insurance

Just wondering when it comes to modifications, what does and doesn't need to be declared? Or does everything?

Im thinking of things such as non standard carbs (Webber in this case) and the car being lowered (3 inches)?

I'd declare everything that has been replaced that isn't a like-for-like part that was on the car when new.

Bit harsh maybe? It's clearly a car he is photographing from another moving vehicle, I don't think his garage claims to hold a Ferrari.

OP - Yes, you will need to declare both mods - changing the carbs will be 'performance enhancing' and lowering the same - I think ZOLLAR on here works in insurance, and he is usually pretty good if he spots the thread for answers of the insurance type.

Do declare them, no matter how much you think you will get away with it, it's not worth the risk!

Declaring everything! I reminded the insurance company that a 35bhp remap on my octy vRS was more then the 'a 10% increase' so i didnt have it come back and bite me should the need arise! Cost me an extra £75 mind you
