The $1m car crash (it involves a blonde, five very expensive cars and Monte Carlo)

T'S the one place in the world you don't want to have a prang but one blone driver's antics outside the Place du Casino, in Monte Carlo, made every tourists' day.

A parade of some of the world's most expensive cars turned into a demolition derby after a driver scraped her $370, 000 Bentley against a $111,000 Mercedes S class.

The woman's 2.7 tonne beast then went on to plough into a $207,000 black Ferrari F430 before crashing head-on into a Porsche 911 worth $118,000 and a $207,000 Aston Martin.

The driver and her two passengers were circled by hundreds of tourists after the pile-up, unable to open their car doors.

The cost of repairs is expected to reach around $60,000.

Saw this earlier, wondered why there wasn't a thread yet. Ouch. Bet her insurer is...um...pleased.

Ha ha, surrounded because they couldn't open their doors?

Look up, it's a convertible, not exactly going to need the 'jaws of life' to cut them out are they?

That zoom has got me thinking about prising something else apart though evil

Only 50 meters from where I may have slightly crashed a Merc SL into a bus full of nuns - and worryingly, I am not joking or exaggerating!

I was about 24 and driving into Casino Square in a nice, shiny SL500, chatting on the phone to my cute blonde GF back in London. There I am, enjoying myself and feeling all smug. All of a sudden, a huge, silver bus that had been stopped by the side of the road and which had clearly been cunningly hiding behind a lamp post, leapt from its hiding place and only my cat like reactions and unquestioned driving prowess meant instead of hitting it I ended up opening up the side of my Merc like a tin can! When I say my Merc, I should perhaps clarify this to say my potential new clients Merc...

I discover that the reason the bus had been able to hide so cunningly was due to divine intervention as the sodding thing was transporting a group of nuns!

You try explaining that one to your potential client! Still not sure why the nun-wagon decided to target me but the whole thing was clearly not in anyway my fault.
