Got smoked by a bus now feeling sick

You would initially think I got beat off the lights by a big stinky smoker, but no. Double decker First bus in Southampton took a dislike to me turning right at a roundabout, he was coming towards me as I exited, I had to wait to let him pass as I wanted to park on the other side of him. for some reason this angered him. that or my shiny car

My drivers side window was open, which happened to be bang in line with his exhaust, mr Bus driver then floored it, filled (literally) my car with acrid black smog - before I had time to shut my window (normal practice when sat in this situation in traffic jams) I now feel sick as a dog and have a raging headache



Thank you mr bus driver for poisoning me, I hope you feel better about yourself.

I truly wish I could meet you face to face

Anyone else had similar treatment?

Sorry, this really did make me chuckle even though I know how minging bus fumes are from great gouts fired at me when I used to bike to work.

Pity you didn't take a picture of bus/plate, write down time/area/plate ring up company. I (shock horror!) was on a bus which was driven dangerously, breaking speed limits, sharp breaking/pulling away while passengers getting on/off and failed to stop at a cemetary for an old dear who didn't look to far from joining whover she just visited.. tt stopped way before the last stop and ordered everyone off as he needed to "stuff"

Turned out the odious little was very much disliked by all his co-workers so complaint made they reckoned he would get the boot as this was regular behaviour..

I feckin hate bus drivers.. on par with white van man for their tttishness (glad I do not have to endure public transport, suprised there are not daily cases of massacres by bus passengers!)

You may be surprised to know that a lot of bus companies take this kind of thing seriously as it brings them into disrepute.
If you know the exact time and location they may well be able to track the individual bus and driver.

I hate bus drivers and always will they all just seem to be massive s. Prime example recently; my sister was running for a bus just as it began to indicate to pull out from the stop so instead of waiting for her he pulled out and left her standing there in the rain, even managed to give her a cheery wave as he left. wker.

First Buses are always appearing in the paper because of the behaviour of their drivers. They seem to have worse standards than most bus companies.

What a great complaint this will make - 'the bus pulled away and diesel fumes came out of the exhaust, he must have done it on purpose due to being jealous of my shiny car as buses are never normally known to expel clouds of black smoke'.

tons of bus drivers including myself have got written warnings for letting people on after shutting door/right indicator on. if i get caught doing it again i'll get the sack. perhaps the driver in your example was holding up his hand to say sorry?
