Everyone must have one.
That one car that meant something to you, that if you could trace it now you would buy it back in an instant.
I'll take you back to 2004 when all I wanted was an E46 coupe. Then this one turned up, poor fella had declared himself bankrupt and he'd only sell his car if someone could come up with cash, no bank transfer was acceptable as it'd be swallowed up and it'd disappear.
At the time, given it was a 2004 model, he was willing to accept £2k less than anything else I could find on AT or PH at the time, rergardless of spec or mileage. Had a decent spec, didn't even need an MOT for a while, full BMW service history and an outstanding warranty etc.
I was 18 years old, was working 12 hours a day, about to go to uni and a business venture that went weirdly well meant i could go to the bank and give him what he wanted...
I appreciate the lack of gap in the plate will probably end up being cross posted into chav plates but I was 18, and at 25 now, I realise the error of my ways, and it's spaced correctly now.
But I loved that car.

Oh, and the colour was Ruby Red Metallic II which (if I believe anything my local main dealer says) was one of only 4 E46 shape BMW's to have it.
I looked at part ex in a few places, most of them tried to tell me that the colour meant it was less desirable, but in my eyes it was a bonus, luckily the buyer agreed.

My 1967 Volvo 1800S. Used everyday for a M25 commute and never let me down once, and such a glorious looking car. Had it for three years and only sold it to go off to a kibbutz to sort my head out after an insane relationship.
The worst thing is, I thought I'd need to sell it for the money, but in the end I needn't have done so.
Looked it up on the DVLA website and it seems it hasn't been on the road for many years.

Very nice, I love the shape of the E46 coupé. It's a few years old now but still looks fantastic. I'd rate the E46 shape over the saloon variant of the newer 3ers.
My most missed car? My Impreza. I didn't want to get rid of it, but spiralling insurance prices and a house move meant that I couldn't really justify keeping it.
Strangely the car was on sale for a good 5 or 6 months after I'd sold it (it was in perfect nick, with brand new brakes, tyres, and cambelt). I actually saved really hard for four months while it was on sale to buy it back, just as I missed it that much. As is sod's law, the DAY before I went to see it (bearing in mind it'd been on sale for nearly half a year), somebody bought it.
I'm still after another one. Just as a second car, although I've got a feeling that I'll just use it all the time and leave the other car (likely to be an M3) for the lazy days.

I still have it, but I really miss it having not been on the road for 6 years. SR20DET powerful K11 Micra. Was a great hoot, made me smile, suprised others, posted great track times,and great qtr miles, but also the luxury of pulling away from M3's, Scooby's etc, with a suprised look on their face. Was brilliant.

It had Prodrive suspension,springs and geometry, Performance Pack , the works ... It was perfect , just the way I liked it .. Sold it cos it was either stay or move on from marital home , and I wanted to move on.
What made it worse I saw it a couple of years ago looking tired with every alloy kerbed to bu****y!!

I miss my S14a 200sx every day.
I sold it 3 years ago, its now in France I believe.
280bhp, leather, perfectly setup coilovers and camber/toe all round and a perfectly balance braking setup. The most amazing exhaust note, and perfect for RWD fun when you wanted it.
Is have another in a heartbeat if they didn't cost so much to run/fix and insure

My Mk2 Rev3 MR2, what hurts the most is that i don't have any pictures of it anymore.
Dark Green, restored the original alloys, then painted gunmetal grey, smoked indicators, smoked rear lights and looked every bit the "poor mans Ferrari" that they get labled.
Drove fantastically and tought me more about fast road work and weight transfer than i could have though possible.
I wish i had kept it when i purchased the scooby, but i foolishly let a friend have it for a song, he then sold it without giving me a chance to buy back first.

my calibra turbo i had when i was 19(im 29 now). Regal phase 3.5, hybrid turbo and other chav must haves adorned its engine. it was quick until faced with a bend but it genuinly was quite a decent car.
a good friend of mine owns it now....so i still get to drive it on occasion! all the fun without any of the bills.

Admittedly it was my father's and he did replace it with a brand new 3.4 Boxster S in '07, which is currently sitting in the garage with just over 13k on the clock and gleaming. Even though it's miles quicker and much more practical, it just doesn't have the same sense of occasion the Caterham had:

I miss my Fiesta Zetec S as well. Bought it new, was my second car. I think I miss the 6-series most of all though. Felt like Vinnie Jones. Used to drive it agressively to make it look a bit more evil. People used to stop me in the street and ask if they could buy it off me.

I've got a hankering for an old 900 convertible at moment, had loads of Saabs over the years but never a soft top. They're great old cars, a bit of character about them.And my first 900 turbo convertible... got another one now, not as tidy...
