Yet another German old banger joins the fleet.

I tried to share a bit of road with another car, so my trusty old E28 is in for a bit of repair and titivation.
I needed a something temporary.
Two owners, 60k miles, all in working order. £875.

For E28 nerds, its a very early car, no central locking, no sunroof, keep fit windows and air con?!?
175/80/14 tyres!! Get them skinny wheels!

I remember the first BMW that I ever really noticed was this shape 528.
It's such a beautiful and timeless design. Simple and so well executed and a cracking object of desire. Scary that the finish puts many a modern car to shame, particularly the orange peel paint of many modern BMW's.
I hope it gives many miles of pleasure.

looks like lovely old thing.
I missed one of these a few months ago when an elderly neighbour put his one up for sale, 1984 - A reg, red, virtually unmarked, 80,000 miles looked more like a 5 yr old car than a 26 yr old car would have been one to put away safe for the future. And hardly any electronics to go wrong!
