......What would it be? Money no object, it doesnt necesarilly have to be a family car, just the one car you wish you could have.

For me a 1958 Ferrari 250 GT TDF. I love classic cars, a proper ferrari in my mind, nothing sounds as good or comes near to it in my opinion.

Over to you PHsmile

It's not possible to only have one car, that's just crazy talk!

But if I was forced to live in your strange fantasy world where I'd have unlimited funds yet only buy 1 car it would be a Porsche 356.

Only one car?

This is the stuff of nightmares

Unless it is one car and lots of landrovers and silly things like diggers and stuff

There's so many cars I want but if I could afford to run it and I could only pick one, I'd have a white RS200 with blue stripes sitting at my front door.

Well, a single car has to fulfill basic transportation needs, grocery getting, winter, and be reliable at any price.
Therefore, can't be a 250TR or an E type.
Probably something like a V10 Audi Avant might be the ticket.

Ferrari FF

What else can do 200 mph, and then take the dog to the park, or go to the dump, or go to tescos
Its got 4 seats, boot, can drive in winter. And its a Ferrari!

Aston Martin DB5

I'll walk to the shops when it's raining and work from home in winter, it'd be worth it for the pleasure I'd get driving it on nice dry days.

Edited for photo!

I'm going to take the OP in meaning that this is an invitation to own any car on earth which you want. Something as if its the last gift someone would give you for absolutely free, but if wanted, you can still own other cars.

I'd probably go for a Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing. For me it just looks in every single way possible, magnificent. It was a huge struggle for me to decide if I'd prefer this or a Porsche 550 Spyder.

But the only thing about the car is, its not really for always driving now is it? Its more of a piece of art to be admired. Kind of like mothers best China dishes, never to be used, just to be looked at and admired...

All very nice, the idea is that this car doesnt have to be practical, the dream car you've always wanted, forget school runs and taking the dog to the park. In your perfect world what would you drive? As I said gotta be a classic Ferrari 250 GT TDF
