When is my MOT due?

Obviously the car has tax/ins/MOT. I know when the insurance is up as the insurer writes to me. I know when the tax is up because the disc in the window says so. I should know when the MOT is due because I'll have a bit of paper somewhere, which is last years certificate.

However, if I can't quickly lay my hands on the MOT certificate, is there a way I can find out when it's due by looking online, and what details will I need to do that?

Cheers lads. I'll stored the V5 document number in my phone, then I can check it whenever I want.

Just for completeness, do you know of any links to check insurance and tax expiry?

That lets you check insurance but might charge if you need detailed info - although it's not expensive.

I think I'll start making use of the little sticker they include on MOT certificates these days. I just need to find somewhere suitable to place it that won't leave 'tack' on the glass/plastic. Maybe I'll stick it to the reverse of the tax disc holder...?
