God I hate snakes!

Got to love this though:

A friend of mine who runs a bodyshop opened a bonnet to find a snake,

absolutely st himself as he has a real phobia of snakes.

They probably meant in the engine (i.e. between pipes etc can reasonably described as such) and not in the cylinders and you seem to think.

That would be on the engine, in the engine bay or under the bonnet. Not in the engine. As I see it.

I had a mate who worked as a mechanic in Oz, used to have spiders (big dinner plate sized bds) behind door cards, under carpets and behind bumpers / panels. He hated stripping a car down before working on it, scared of what he might find!

So instead of putting on their hazards and pulling over to allow it to slither off, they just film it, clearly showing the woman driving being dangerously distracted by it. With a young child in the back too. Brilliant. I hope the US equivalent of the RSPCA see the video, and prosecute for unnecessary animal cruelty.

There is a video (I think must have been posted on the YouTube thread) of a snake suddenly appearing over the speedo of a motorbike. The guy takes it in his stride and has a laugh about it.

The animal cruelty laws are rightly severe in the US. Lets hope they do see.
