Saturday randomness after witnessing a 6 series bmw smoking the tyres at some lights today.

In low grip (say in the wet), will auto cars just change up as normal if you spin the wheels? Or hold the gear/hit the rev limiter?

Bmw 6er's don't appear to be restricted in anyway..

My 200sx auto span up through all gears and was easily held on the front brakes with the pedal. smile

yep... will change gears like normal unless you have a separate clutch mechanism fitted which engages when you release it after building up some revs
