Whats the worse that can happen?

Right guys, so rented a Renault in Italy for our holiday and while doing the legal speed limit went through a pothole on the side of the rode that i have not seen. As a result the front alloy on the side has a considerable dent and the tyre has a cut ( not broken or deflected, just an exterior cut), also the rear alloy has a smaller dent and tyre has a smaller cut. As i rentdr through Europcar i had a 250 euros excess but on the paper they gave i have an additional 600 excess on top of it tho my rental cost did not changed. Now, whats the worse that can happen? Am i gonnA have to pay for new alloys and tyres? Cheers
