Went to Shelsley Walsh the weekend they filmed this as our car club were holding their national day there.

It was an absolutely wonderful venue and I urge any petrolhead to head there for the next event. Absolutely stunning scenery, an excellent open pit with friendly drivers happy to chat about their cars, fantastic organisation, and really well thought out and well price catering and excellent facilities. It felt really old fashioned but in a really good way - a really excellent, warm atmosphere.

Honestly one of the best days out I've had this year and only goes to reaffirm to me that just trudging along to the same old VW shows which I've done year on year over the last decade or so are over - this is what it is to be a motoring enthusiast.

The next event is the 'big one' too which will see all sorts of cars take a run up the hill.

These include the big single seaters which are a fantastic sight for any petrolhead.

I can't wait.

Irritatingly I'm out of the country when it's on frown Haven't they got the Battle of Britain Memorial Flypast booked as well? Should be a belter!
