What's The Best Way To Drive A Ford Transit?

The answer seems to be 'very sideways'. Accompanied by a growling V8 soundtrack

We always reckon that a rapidly driven Ford Transit should be really be finished in a grimy white, be it a criminal's getaway van, or the hard-worked tool of a white van man.

Lurid orange, black, and green is not an appropriate colour, we feel. But it has been fitted with a beautiful-sounding V8, and the man behind the wheel makes a fair old fist of hanging the tail out, displaying the sort of skills that many a Guy Ritchie wheelman would be proud of.

So perhaps we'll forgive that paint job. Although the absence of an old red-top tabloid wedged down the front of the dash is an unforgivable omission...

Sorry. Nasty van, chav paint, chav behaviour.

PH factor of zero, IMO. More Barryboys than PH.

Was expecting something about a copy of the daily sport on the dashboard and driving 3mm from the car in front of you, but this works too.

I love it, but I'm not too keen on the drifting and lairy paint.

If I had the money, I would love to build one with a big Ford V8, manual gearbox and very understated looks.

That's awful! How could they do that to the XJ220 van? It looked brilliant with the papers and coffee cups and the roof rack, now it's just a stupid piece of advertising

? 'Chav' behaviour?

Its a mobile advert for a business, how is that 'chav'?

I hate how the term chav is now used to describe anything that someone doesnt like...

Yep, chav. Chav paint - clashy, bright, garish. Just like their track suits. All it needs is a set of Lexus lights... Chav behaviour - donuts and burnouts.

If I ever had a V8 Transit, it would be for my fake company "Bojit & Scahper Repairs".
