Hopefully I have the correct forum to show what a professional can do in a day.

I was very disappointed with the paintwork on my BMW , it looked all like someone had not buffed the paint and it looked rubbish in bright sun. I genuinely thought that I would have to put up with it and it put a downer on what was otherwise a dream car. I know, that there is a detailing section, but thought that other PH members who never visit the detailing section (I never had), may find this of interest. There is even a pretty chic in the middle! wink

I thought paint colour was a flat dark blue, turns out it is metallic blue.

Work was completed by Dave & Chris in one long day and I am astounded at the transformation.

Edited to add that car was bought privstely and did not look so bad on a dull day.

Amazing transformation! If you don't mind me asking, how much does a service like that cost? Would love to get my car looking that shiny, though I fear the cleaning/ correction may cost as much as a quarter of the value of my car.

No connection to me, just a happy customer.

Only down side is we thought my wifes car was in very good condition, now we know what can be achieved, we realiseed it could be better. It is booked in for tomorrow with Dave & Chris. smile

Thanks for the link, those prices are a lot less than I thought smile I remeber one of the EVO mag guys had a detail and it cost the best part of £500 iirc.

Is my car worth the attention though? Probably not, but so much shininess is tempting biggrin

Thanks for that Garret, hope you enjoy your new car now. Many thanks for the hospitality from both you and your wife over the 2 days we were with you.
