Shortly before a dual-carriageway merged into a single-lane, I was surprised to see a Perodua Kelisa leap enthusiastically out of lane 1 to overtake the artic lorry he'd been following. He made it, and only had to use about 20 metres of the hatched area to do so

Achieving a last-minute, pressured overtake in a biscuit tin powered by a hamster wheel makes him my motoring hero of the day. Who's yours?
