Not much to add to the title really other than my little brother (30ish so insurance not a problem) is after a new car to replace his Honda Jazz.

He's keen on a Merc 220CDi coupe, I've suggested a 1 series as I had one for 3 years and it was great. Also thinking maybe a Skoda Octavia?

He's a professional tuba player although I have fitted it in my Elise so more accurate criteria may be 4 seats and decent hatchback/ boot. No kids at present and economy/ servicing are a consideration.

Thanks in advance guys

I think tubas are essential aftermarket components for something like a Ferrari/Maserati.

If your budget can't stretch to that then how about a Kia Piccolo?
