Anyone know a good place to get my ECU repaired?
Discussion
Hi,
The ECU on my mark two '99 Seat Toledo has been giving me trouble for the last few months and I have decided enough is enough - I want to get it repaired. What is happening is that the immobiliser sometimes will not let you start the car. It isn't a key problem as I have tried the spare key as well. Can anyone recommend a good, trusted place that I can send the ECU to to be repaired?
Any help gratefully received.

How do arrive at the conclusion that the engine ECU is at fault? If it's anything like the Octavias of a similar age, firstly the immobiliser is incorporated into the dash panel insert and secondly when Octavias have this problem the cure is to replace a £5 wiring loom from the ignition switch reading coil to the back of the dash panel insert.
