I found some false eyelashes in mine. And some KFC salt packets. That token is quite cool though, is there a date on it?

Sadly not but it's a 1988 Rover so if it was worth 0.001p in 1988 it must be worth at 0.142p based on the cost of Petrol then and now. 0.139p of that would be Tax though. frown

I found an emergency flare in my old MR2 Turbo. I fired it and got arrested but the police let me off, unlike my friend who threw a battery at them and was charged.

I found a couple of Japanese coins in my import a few years ago, but that's about it sadly.

I remember the Tiger Tokens. My Dad used to do about 50,000 miles a year, so we had glasses, cutlery and all sorts free through these things.

When he was a truck driver, he used to get Argos vouchers, and have had a few TV's out of them too.

Harsh.

I remember those things - I used to collect them when I went with my dad for petrol.

I inherited a company car with a load of 'fruity' pics of presumably the previous incumbants lady friend in the pocket behind the passenger seat. She was fit too.

I guess it wouldn't take much to get a D90 cassette or two these days - wasn't it 6 tokens?

I don't know I wasn't old enough to drive back then.

It's a pre-90 one apparently. After the World Cup they changed from the picture of a tiger to a photo taken from their advert instead. Someone is actually sad enough to know and share that information with me. rolleyes

But thanks anyway. hehe

I bought a shed of a 406 Hdi a couple of years, that came with a little satchel in the spare wheel well. Inside that were a few prophylactics. Unused, thankfully.
