I have never owned a big bm and drove it thought the winter but i have the accord which is great thought the snow so if you own a bm what they like in the snow

Don't worry about winter, just drive whatever you have in an appropriate manner for the conditions. buy a car based on it's merits for the other 99% of your time spent driving; look at things like space, comfort, economy, performance etc.
All car's are similarly crap in snow, it's the driver and the tyres that make the difference!!!
As above winter Tyres are a worthwhile investment on any car.
