Why do people not add pictures of the interior of the car when trying to sell it?

This really puts me off going to view a car as I often use the pictures of the interior to ensure it has the options I'm looking for (i.e steering wheel controls, climate control, sat nav etc). I completely disregard the description (especially on Autotrader) as they tend not to reflect the options or actual appearance of the interior in anyway shape or form!

Pictures are added of a close up of the front wing, or the spoiler, or the battery cover which have no use to me whatsoever, yet they fail to realise that people actually like to see a picture of where they will be sitting and the things they actually see/do whilst driving!

Try finding pics of the interior of a Galaxy or Mercedes Vito befoe you hire it. Manufacturers seem to deliberately hide the amount of luggage room with all seats in use.

Normally because it has some hideous light coloured wood effect trim and none of the options you want. I always assume that no description or photo means that what you want isn't there, and what is there is a colour few people could stomach. Or they could be simply too lazy to clean it inside and do a decent advert.

This is also my assumption, but do people really go out with a view to parting with their hard earned money without the pictures? I know I wouldn't...

I love bad adverts because it puts most other buyers off and can help increase my chances of bagging a bargain tongue out

Some people just don't have a clue in how to sell a car or how to think from a buyer's perspective.

Thanks for that as that's what I've hired though I know they come in varying wheelbases. Is the 9 seater hire version abroad always a LWB? Sorry to hijack. wink

I hate this too, there are so many options available on most cars that one picture can tell you if it's worth looking at or not. I really don't like light interiors and generally assume that there is something horrible waiting if there are no pictures.
