Stupid me. In my haste to book the cheapest hotel room (£19, go me) I missed the fact that the hotel doesn't have a car park. I'm in the travelodge on Gold Street and I need to know of any safe overnight car parks in the area. I can see lots on Google Earth, but I dunno if they're 24hr and safe.

Any suggestions welcome.

If its the travelodge in sol central, It has a multi storey car park built in, Im sure its 24 hours too.

Edit: the travelodge is opposite sol central near enough, it has an ibis and cinema, go round the back of sol central and there is an outdoor and indoor carpark. Careful with following satnavs on the roads, theyve changed the layouts.

Cancel the Hotel, and book another with a car park.

Derngate multi-storey should be ok, although not as close as Sol Central. Last time u parked overnight it cost about 2 quid and its locked overnight...that was quite a while ago though.

The Ibis/cinema complex has a decent car park, i've used it a few times without any problems. They do charge though...

Paying for it won't be a problem, I'll just use the money I saved by not booking a proper hotel.

I'm pretty sure I had to have a little lay down after I paid for overnight parking there a few years ago. I should of put 'charge' it capitals.
