Seems to be a largely forgotten car. Does anyone know if they're any good?
The OH is selling her MiTo in favour of something slightly older and more economical and the B200 CDi has popped onto the radar... some nice examples around for the £8k mark.
And crucially... it'd fit on the driveway. Nothing over 4300mm will!

Mrs A has a B200 and I love it The OH is selling her MiTo in favour of something slightly older and more economical and the B200 CDi has popped onto the radar... some nice examples around for the £8k mark.

It's a great little car for jumping in and knocking around town, steering is light and as it almost has a wheel in each corner it handles reasonably well. Ours is the petrol model, and to be honest the engine sounds a bit unrefined which surprised me for an MB.There seems to be a large list of possible options, so try and find a well-specced one. Leather is difficult to find, but our Sport spec one has part-leather and nice chromey bits. Almost full-length glass roof is nice too, and if you get one with telephone pre-wiring you can get a bluetooth yoke off Ebay for about £70.
If we were looking again, I'd go for a diesel auto if possible.

Thanks. It'll be a manual and either the largest available petrol or diesel.

Might try and find one close by over the weekend for a closer look.
I drove my boss's once.
It was a 20 minute stop start stint in town. The steering was light but without feeling (I didn't have the opportunity to get up to speed to see if that improved.) Mind you, it was easy to point in the right direction. It was comfy enough but a sod to reverse. Happy to say I didn't trash my boss's car but if I owned one, I'd get parking sensors. Enormous boot with
Not a "PH" car, but very good car-as-quality-white-goods. (Think Smeg or Miele rather than Hotpoint.)
