Driving test tomorrow.

It is finally time for me to take my test, so today me and my dad took the car out for one last spirited blast on some of my favourite roads before I have to stop driving.

I'd be lieing if I said I wasn't bricking it about tomorrow for a number of reasons, chief among which being the fact I have only driven the car I am taking my test in once. Anyway, here's hoping it goes well.

There is no way in hell that I am going to be able to insure a car this year, or through University or, assuming all goes to plan, through professional training and the first year of work.

Hint - join a society as soon as you get there, and take the minibus test. The union will have a load of minibuses which can be borrowed, mine was free. They also had a car which I used to borrow to tool around town in every so often when I needed a drive.

Good luck! And remember, if you find it difficult to do the 'independant driving' bit where the examiner will most likely tell you to follow signs for so and so, if you struggle with that just keep turning left. Providing you do the turn correctly he cant mark you down

Remember though, if you make some big driving mistakes on the day, you could always pull over, slowly rub your inner thigh and whisper "Passing my test is important to me - If my driving isn't up to scratch, I'm sure we could come to some arrangement"
