Racetrack V motorway V street

They all look like black tarmac to those of us who drive on them.

But i am sure they are very diferent in construction as I guess the requirements of a motorway is very different to a racetrack.


So can a person with more knowledge of road engineering tell us how they are made

Lucky you, my streets look like either

a) black tarmac with HUGE whacking great holes in the bd thing
b) periodic massive humps, kerb height across the width of them
