Visited Lands End the other day and got me thinking, what is the record for driving End-to-End in a car? There isn't much about it online, just full of records on walking, cycling, skateboarding, electric cars, youngest, oldest etc.

Has anyone on here ever done it in a car in a good time (and without breaking the law obviously) and if you have what car and what time did you do it in?

I would be interested to know smile

Cheers

Cool thanks for the link, that certainly looks interesting might have to sign up.

Someone on here must have done it before though? Anyone?

Where would you be starting from? Any time would highly depend on the points being driven from/to.

That sounds like a pretty good time to me! Google maps route planner says it should take over 15 hours (and that doesnt take fuel stops into account!).

You must of had a pretty good avarage speed!

Sorry, I have amended my original post as it wasnt to clear but just interested in how long it has taken people to drive from Lands End to John O'Groats in a car. And if there is some sort of record for it anywhere?

Good story here from someone who did it on Kawasaki in 1984 in a little over 11 hours.
