so got off the tube and get a photo message from my brother showing what appears to be my mums car crashed, airbad off etc. but now i cant get hold of any members of my family so in a bit of limbo, put my mind at ease and confirm that its not too serious, looks like maybe airbag burns, maybe a leg injury and a bit of shock?

its really worrying not being able to get in touch, im in london they are in somerset.

if it was serious would he be sending you a pic of a crashed car?

I'm sure he wouldn't send that through if there was anything wrong, bit bloody stupid and insensitive either way though!

Impossible to say for sure.
However on previous experience. Low speed impact. Door not deformed. Airbag deployed. Looks front o/s so most force not directly transferred. Car spun slightly by impact. Not tons of debris. No evidence of paramedic stuff left at scene.

Slight injury crash. Probably lower leg with some whiplash.

Agreed, I've had similar, and drove the car home. It wasn't happy, but it drove.

I'd be surprised if any injurys sustained looks very minor. Of course insurance companies will push the driver to put in a whiplash claim.

I'll echo what people have said above - if it was serious, surely your brother would have sent more information.

Looks like minimal debris, I'd say likely a bit of whiplash and hopefully not much more.

It's easy for me to say, but I'd try not to worry too much until you get some more facts.

Unless your brother is a heartless git then I would imagine either no injuries or it's not her car.

Finally got hold of the little scrote,

impact with tractor, it drove into her wing then into some other parked cars, 330d (not sure if mapped) and a 206, on the other side, hasnt admitted liability, is with NFU. bib attented

she is at home with hurt back, wont go to A+E, seeing her GP at 4. she isnt the type to claim whiplash etc.

at least she is ok.

car wouldnt steer, driver door jammed shut, its a write off for sre with such a low value to begin with.

Glad she is OK - be sure to deal out a swift dead arm to your brother when you see him!

If i had been sent this from my brother, i'd assume it was him who had crashed it.

The likely reason you can't get hold of your parents, is they are busy b0ll0cking your brother.

Wet roads.. Old tyres.. Looks like they understeered into a dry stone wall at low speed..

Maybe some light pedal injuries to the ankles...

The Nova wasn't nicknamed the 'Widowmaker' for nothing...
brother has mk3 golf, and is fairly sensible driver,

mother has the 2003 corsa pictured

Or got hit by a tractor.

With a bit of back pain

It's not a Nova. Not even close.

You're an idiot. HTH.

Ok I was late, with my reply..

And how is it not close even to a Nova.? It's the model that replaced it...

Best wishes to the OP's mother.

Is it just me or do those words often appear in the same sentence?

Laughing is in no way appropriate following an accident, but I have to confess to laughing out loud when I read that. Pleased to hear there are no serious injuries.
