I would say bad move on his part but that is exactly the kind of thing I would do and then not realise why everyone is so pissed off.

You know when something smells a bit funky? That seller's first 5 feedbacks are all from the same person over a 4 months period. So if you go and look at their past purchases over the last month or so and see 2 C20 head gaskets and a gearbox amongst other cars sold and bought, kind of hums a bit.

Feels like the g/f is masking a home trader and this cars had a few problems to me

My guess is there's something seriously wrong with it and the story is a good cover for just being able to shrug when anybody asks a detailed question.

I reckon it has issues. Not really in the same league as the pissed off Kerrang DJ's wife who flogged his esprit for 50p on the condition it was picked up before he got back from work.

First of all, second kid, why can't he get a sports car? one assumes he has a perfectly adequate car to drive her and the kids around in already as he has a kid by this woman already.

and on a purely personal note. You are having a second kid with this woman. Use the money to marry her you useless non-commital moron.

Not so sure. Plenty of "baby items" in her history.

Some porsche parts and some LR90 parts...... So I'm 50/50 on whether it's a dog, or whether he just buys cars frequently, gets bored, and sells on.

I do thi getmecoat so my ebay history will show the various parts I've bought for them, including the sale of 2 cars in 4years for my dad. So based upon "impressions" I'd be a trader.

In actual truth, no such thing.

You see a lot of these ads along the lines of "I'm selling this for a friend".

Yeah right. Some of them can't even be arsed to take the lot number off the keyring in the photos.

Exactly - I've bought a lot more cars and cart parts in shorter time frames than that on my eBay account and I'm no trader. I once had 3 cars for sale simultaneously! I've calmed down a bit down but I used to buy all sorts of random stuff on a whim, run it for a month or two and sell it on. Great way to experience lots of different cars at little to no cost.

Ditto.

At one point I had a buying history full of classic merc parts. Whilst selling a 2003 MG ZR, a 2001 Volvo C70 and an assortment of furniture.

Now it's full of buying/selling 200SX parts. Beemer bits.

So far its sold:

the mg. the volvo. the 200sx. a mates punto. and now has my beemer on it. Also bought my austin1300 by ebay.

I have 3cars...... 1 derv saab thats a keeper, 1 classic for me and the OH. and 1x snotter/fun car, that I chop and change every few months, fulfilling all my childish "wants".

Each car will get money spent on it, and sold for roughly what I paid for it, with loads of repairs/improvements.

So I ussually lose money. (200SX circa £12,000. beemer circa a grand. MG circa 4grand).

Yet according to flebay history, I'm a trader? confused

p.s. and within 8weeks I'll be selling the OHs grandads scenic, and uncles rover 45 as ones giving up driving and the other is getting a new car.

Both cars are worthless at chop-in value, so Im ebaying for costs only.

trader am I?

Has to be a advertising scam.

No man in their right mind would let a woman take a car of him.
It tickles me to think if I bought it and my wife said that to me (I think Not)
