Part of me likes the look of it, loves the idea but "Beetle Chassis" and "300 bhp" in the same sentence kind of suggest it would be a very good way to terrify or injure yourself, no discernible rollover protection, plastic body etc, plus its ten grand at the moment.

Would need to drive it as, it may be fantastic, well sorted and handles the power well, or it could be horrific and dangerous.

Nice car , all depends on the price . Not keen on the colour but I could live with it.
Might be a few nice evenings to enjoy it before it is too late smile

It'd sound wrong if they replace a boxer 4 with... a boxer 4?

Why?

They sounds pretty much nothing alike.

It'd sound like a Subaru.
Granted that the induction noise is different, but that's really a turbo versus non-turbo thing. The offbeat exhaust noise is just a little louder on a subaru than on a porsche...

All that worries me about a subaru motor is the fact most have been ragged to death. Not only that but they are an utter pain in the arse to work on. You need a tool box full of "special" tools.

Edited to add that I do like the concept!

If you want it then buy it.

It's better to regret buying a car than to regret not buying one.
