i know there are a load of reasons but having them listed by rational petrolheads will help me with this potential impulse purchase...

Part of me likes the look of it, loves the idea but "Beetle Chassis" and "300 bhp" in the same sentence kind of suggest it would be a very good way to terrify or injure yourself, no discernible rollover protection, plastic body etc, plus its ten grand at the moment.
Would need to drive it as, it may be fantastic, well sorted and handles the power well, or it could be horrific and dangerous.

my thoughts entirely - I doub't its one for the twisties - you'd have to keep it in a straight line

It'd sound wrong.
It'd sound wrong if they replace a boxer 4 with... a boxer 4?Why?
It'd sound like a Subaru.

Granted that the induction noise is different, but that's really a turbo versus non-turbo thing. The offbeat exhaust noise is just a little louder on a subaru than on a porsche...

Still offbeat but nothing like the same C
