Have had a couple of private plates on sale for nearly a year now on RegTransfers, with no sign of a sale. Plates are nothing extraordinary (£500-£800 range). I have been steadily lowering the prices too. WHERE GOES I WRONG?

You could try eBay or PH classifieds.

The world is full of cheap number plates, not least with DVLA cracking them out at auction from a starting point of £250 and plenty of 3-letter 3-number combinations from £400

So anything that's going to sell "second hand" needs to be either attractive or cheap. As you may have seen in another thread someone's got 430 GTO for sale and there's no sign it's set to be a big cash earner.

What are the reg's you're trying to shift?

Do not want to flout the advertising rules herein prescribed, but they are 3 letter 3 digit affairs.
