The Best Way To Do Camping?

Why Porsche, plus powerboat, plus motorhome equals brilliant

It’s not quite planes, trains and automobiles, but this pic, sent to us by PHer ARAF, has got to be an example of the best camping holiday ever.

Cars, boats and motorhomes: what could be better for a week’s camping? Forget tents besieged by midges and a 15-year old Volvo loaded to the gunwales. Forget, even, the Chevrolet Matizes one usually sees trundling along on an A-frame behind many a motorcaravan – this is the way to do the Great Outdoors.

“Race you back to Antibes, darling? You take the Porsche – I’ll take the rib....”

Practical mode on - you would need to choose your route and any bridges pretty carefully

That is my dream....

Hopefully there is a little garage at the back of the motorhome with his KTM 300EXC, BMW S1000RR, downhill mountain bike, cross country mountain bike, ski's etc, etc in to make it perfect!!

Wonder how you get the RIB down? Not exactly "light" are they (guessing 600kg by the size of it)

According to this, 50mph, though I shouldn't imagine that would be as quick with all that extra ironmongery that's been nailed to it...
I've always been fascinated by those DUKWs, ever since I was a kid...
