What's the first car you've owned that you'd genuinely be upset at selling?

I like my Lexus very very much, but I don't think I'd be overly sad to see it go, although it's treated me well.

i spent 10k on modifing a calibra turbo once(not including buying it), i was either in love or very ill. jury is still out to be honest. i sold it for 2.5k. maths was never my strong point.
i never stoped banging on about the car, this was 10years ago mind and it was still marginaly impressive to own on at 20. my nickname was "cally" after the car. my dog was called "cally" and i informed mrs tucks if we had a child ,be it male or female, it was to be called "cally"

news just in, turns out i was ill.

My 147 GTA. I loved that car and was genuinely upset to see it go, even more upset when I tried to 'press on' in it's replacement (a 1.8TS 156). I think I was more upset at myself for being a dick and putting myself into a situation where I had to sell it to pay the tax man, but there you go. hehe

My invisible Fiat Cinquecento, sold it to someone who ruined it, so I bought it back and painted the car in Gulf racing colours. See it at the PPC £999 Challenge Santa Pod September 16th. driving

I don't buy a car if I don't like it.

My 309 Goodwood. All the luxuries, in a cheap car, at 17! Wish it never died!

My Fiat X1/9.
It was polished every weekend, tinkered with, I joined the club and even attended an owners club meet (god there were some proper freaky weirdo's there!).
Eventually the tin worm won and it was too soul destroying watching the thing rot away before my eyes. So I sold it.

My old AE82 Corolla GTI.

Fun little car, plenty of easily controlled lift off oversteer, excellent engine, was in good condition. It was just so much fun.

Until I killed it, after a company christmas party. Very badly written off, and only a few days after the g/f dumped me.

Old A-reg left hand drive E30 323i in gold.

Was my first car, a hand me down from an uncle that was about 12 years old when I got it. Awesome car!

Your uncle shouldn't have been driving if he was only 12.

Mine was my 1965 Triumph Vitesse 6, when I was 17 and still wet behind the ears. 1.6 litres of straight 6 loveliness. God I miss her frown

I usually fall in love with the Alfas that I've owned. In particular, my Alfa Sud Ti and my Alfa Montreal.

But I think I love my current car the most.

My 1973 orange MGBGT that I bought in 1984 just after passing my test. Loved it and a week later some complete nonce drove into the back of it in his Datsun, writing it off. frown
