Citroen C4 VTS 2.0 HDi any good?

Looking for a little run about for the wife to potter around to the shops and the park with the kids. Been offered a C4 VTS 2.0 HDi at a knock down rate from a body shop my dad sells paint and stuff to.

What are they like? The mrs likes the looks of the 3 door (which this one is), the phil and teds double fits in the boot and I know the Peugeot HDi engine is pretty much bullet proof. Anything I should look out for?

Hmmm, i bookmarked this thread as i quite like the C4, seems like no-one esle does though!

Engine's relatively sound, but doesn't it have the usual french build problems? Kids'll trash the inside within a few days and bits will fall off.
