Curious to see how many of us have actually met up with fellow PHers through PH gatherings.

And just to clarify:
Event - includes PH fund raisers, supercar shows, BT&P etc.
Meet/hoon - what it says on the tin, but must have been arranged through PH. Could also include DD, Sunday Service etc.

Any reasons why you do or don't attend events, etc?

I'd probably stick that in Meet.

I've done both, I've attended a few Sunday Services as well as a local run out organised on here. I also went to the Supercar event at Wilton House.

Been to one official meet, though only 3 or 4 of us turned up.

Went on a 'hoon' once but a bit too mad for us, ending with a written off TVR cry

You can hand your badge and keys in at the door on your way out.

I have attended a few trips between PH and the TVR Car Club and they have all been great!

The PH Highlands weekend tour was particularly good, as was the trip to Holy Island. Most of the car shows have been though the TVRCC though.

Went to what will possibly be the last ever Cheddar meet.
Was fun, hopefully not my first and only event. When I am back at uni I may be able to attend some of the Midlands meets too. smile

"Organised" a Shropshire PH run out in 2007 consisting of:

RR Silver Spirit
Bentley 8
Bentley Turbo R
Jaguar XK120
Caterham 7
Saab 9-3 Aero

Eclectic, it was.

And Balmoral Green was impossibly quick in the BTR.

Yep, attended several Sunday Services as well as Kent runs, TRs, Supercar Sundays and the rare Ace meet.

Good excuse to talk carbs, V8s and RMRs with fellow-minded folks - and I've made a few close friends through the forum too.
