In the year 2015 the EU has decided that to help the environment that all conventional car layouts like FWD with the front wheels steering, RWD with the front wheels steering, 4WD with the front wheels steering, 4 wheels steering are all banned.*

So what will your new fun vehicle be. You can't have any drive layout that is currently offered by a major car manufacturer. Will it be FWD with rear wheels steering like a forklift, skid steering like an Argocat, Articulating like a dumper truck.?

* i have made this bit up

I'm gonna have a SidewheelDrive vehicle with tranposed opposite corner steering....... Should be a laugh to drive. In fact, i may as well just design the "crab" car right now come to think about it ;-)

Nothing would change for me- it'd still be RWD with steer from the rear :-P

RWS is lethal at speed, a combine at 30mph is bad enough as you get a pendulum effect

I believe there are some Turbocharged, R1 engined versions around. They are fairly potent at 300hp and 200kg.

Would probably go down the 'bit more 'drive, and traction' route...

yes

The noise alone does it for me to be honest (with suitable aftermarket exhaust). Proper hooligan machine.

Pretty poor video but you get the idea.
