September 1st, new reg, when best to buy a used car???

As per title, is it better to buy a used car in the next couple of days from a dealership or wait a couple of weeks?

I think dealers have been dropping prices recently to make way for new stock, however many people have been part-exchanging their old cars so these will be on the market in the next few weeks,

Any thoughts?

I discounted the arse off both of the cars I sold today, and will continue to do so for 2 more days. Then it'a another month and all returns to normal.

Depends on how good your negotiation skills are, the customers have I've dealt with today have got fantastic deals that they're happy with, and I got the 2 deals I needed for my target. Everyone's a winnerrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
