ive got a car in the for sale section and have had an email regarding said car, you all know the one where he is willing to pay an extra £20 by "check"!! to secure it and his shipping company manager will be picking it up when said "check" has cleared,and he wants to know all my details!! obviously im not that stupid so wont be following this up but was wondering weather i should report it on here and where?? i have the email address and his name

No point in reporting it. Legitimate buyers and fake scammers have the same rights to view adverts so it's up to you to use a bit of common sense and work out whether the buyer is genuine or not.

cheers wasnt sure if pistonheads could do anything to stop them, as some people must fall for it sometimes or else they would have surely given up by now ive had these emails everytime ive sold a car i think!!
