Enough to get a super car?

Any suggestions?

I grow tired of viewing super cars within these super car threads.

Stop posting on the internet and work harder.

Simply pick the correct numbers on the lottery.

Rob a bank.

Stop paying your mortgage for 10 years.

Charge 100,000 people to have sex with you. A pound a go.

Start a company offering loans at 2500% APR.

I could go on.

You are either

a) Typical PH Knobhead "I earn 250K a year" while really living with your mum

or

b) Somewhat out of touch with what constitutes expensive for 98% of the people in the UK. Median income in the UK a couple of years ago was £18.5k PA and £45k PA puts you in the top 10%. Or bottom 1% of PH forum users, it seems.

The mean is noticeably higher than the median, and is probably around mid 20s, but you could argue the modal average is the most informative. I'm sure Google knows the answer. Doesn't really change the point that £85k really is quite expensive. You really do need to have many hundreds of thousands of pounds before you consider something costing £85k to be "not expensive". I hear you can buy a nice 40' sailing yacht for that...

Looking at it another way...

You can rent a ferrari on a track for less than £500 for a few hours.

You can go on a 5-6 day driving holiday in one for around £7k too.

You can join those clubs for £30kish a year and get a selection to use for a few days over the year.

By 'get' a supercar do you mean own? I don't want to own a supercar with all the expenses, I just want to drive one.

I have a very simple equation for getting rich.

It goes like this:

1. Buy something Cheap

2. Sell it for more

3. Repeat
